Batatise Consulting Engineers was established in 2015 by visionary entrepreneurs determined to make a lasting impact on the built environment sector. Starting with just one employee, we have grown into a robust team of industry experts, including professional engineers, technologists, technicians, project managers, and draughtsmen. 2015 – Foundations Laid
This year marked the beginning of our journey as Batatise Consulting Engineers, a dedicated firm in the built environment sector, committed to delivering innovative, quality and reliable civil engineering solutions
2018 – Strategic Growth and Repositioning
Batatise Consulting Engineers was restructured under the newly formed Batatise Group (Pty) Ltd, with Batatise Consulting becoming a key subsidiary. This milestone marked a period of rapid growth and strategic repositioning, where we expanded the firm’s service offering to include development planning, project management, and multidisciplinary consulting solutions.
2021 – Diversification and Strategic Alignment
We reached a pivotal point in our growth, securing higher-value contracts and expanding our footprint across South Africa. This year marked the company’s evolution into a fully integrated, multidisciplinary consultancy within the built environment sector. To support this growth, a five-year strategic plan was introduced, providing clear direction, measurable objectives, and a renewed focus on innovation, client service, and operational excellence.
2025 – Leadership Evolution and Quality Accreditation
In a move to strengthen our technical capabilities, a Head of Technical with over 35 years of experience in the built environment was appointed. In the same year, we attained ISO 9001 accreditation, reinforcing our commitment to quality management, operational excellence, and global standards.
