Scope:
 

• Upgrading and rehabilitating the existing raw water source infrastructure, including the weir and raw water pumping systems.

• Enhancing both low-lift and high-lift pump stations to capacities of up to 20.7 Ml/day, including the installation of sump and new pumping mains.

• Upgrading the high-lift pumping main with additional 400mm diameter pipelines to improve water transfer capacity.

• Refurbishing existing treatment infrastructure, including SSF (4.4Ml) and RGF (8.6Ml) process trains.

• Phased upgrades of the Mutale Water Treatment Works to increase capacity from 16Ml to 24Ml.

• Construction of a new 42Ml raw water dam and refurbishment of the existing raw water dam to enhance raw water storage and reliability.
